Learning Outcomes and Objectives

The structure of the course is as follows:

  • Module 1 - Understand what is stress & how stress show up 
  • Module 2 - Differentiate between different types of stress
  • Module 3 - Coping tips for managing stress
  • Module 4 - Understand stress and your body (nutrition and exercise)--- from Charlotte / Ron
  • Module 5 - Identifying your own resilience
  • Module 6 - Emotional Intelligence
  • Module 7 - Develop, implement and measure your personalised stress management plan

By the end of this course you should be able to:

  • Understand the basic principles of stress management
  • Recognize your stress triggers and how to manage them
  • Develop proactive responses to stressful situations
  • Use coping tips for managing stress both on and off the job
  • Learn how to manage stress through diet, sleep and other lifestyle factors
  • Develop a long term action plan to minimize and better manage your stress

In order to achieve the course certificate, you must complete all quizzes/assignments, which count towards your overall grade for the course. The passing grade for this course is 80%.
